Scholarships: Recognising Exceptional Talent
Scholarships are awarded in direct recognition of truly outstanding performance and a clear demonstration of exceptional ability across various fields, be it academics, sport, or the expressive arts. To be named a King’s College Scholar is considered a very special achievement, one that brings immense pride to both students and their families.
King’s Scholars serve as vital role models and peer leaders across the school community, powerfully demonstrating how high potential can be fully realised within a supportive school environment. Naturally, all scholarships are conditional upon the student maintaining a consistently high standard of performance and demonstrating a strong commitment to contributing fully to school life.
Scholarships can be granted to outstanding new and existing students who consistently excel in their specialist areas and beyond. Candidacy is measured through rigorous assessments, performance reviews, examination results, and competition achievements, typically at a regional or national level. Scholarships offer a tuition fee remittance and are formally reviewed on an annual basis.
Bursaries: Financial Assistance
King’s College Doha also offers bursaries in genuinely exceptional circumstances. These awards provide crucial financial assistance for families who would otherwise be unable to access the Outstanding King’s College education. Parents requiring additional financial support should contact the admissions team as early as possible via email at admissions@kingscollegedoha.com.
Parents or guardians of candidates requesting bursary assistance will be required to undergo a comprehensive means testing process. This involves the full and confidential completion of financial circumstances forms, which enables King’s to provide an initial indication of the size of bursary available, should the student in question be offered a place.
