LAMDA is one of the UK’s oldest and most respected awarding bodies. It has been offering practical examinations in communication and performance subjects for 130 years. In this time, the qualifications have helped thousands of candidates of all ages and abilities to develop lifelong skills, building confidence in performance and public speaking.

King’s College is unique in Doha for offering LAMDA lessons to pupils across the Pre-Prep, Prep and Senior Schools.

How does LAMDA work at King’s?

LAMDA lessons are offered at King’s on a weekly basis to both individuals and groups of pupils and take place across all phases of the school as part of the co-curricular activities programme. Participating children are given the opportunity to perform their work in special presentation afternoons for parents.

Exceptional Outcomes

We are particularly proud of the consistently excellent performance of our pupils in their annual LAMDA examinations and consistently have over 90% of participants achieving a Distinction in these exams – the highest possible award.
