The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award is central to our co-curricular provision for Senior School pupils and provides participants with the opportunity to complete Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards.

There are four sections to complete at Bronze and Silver level, and five at Gold. These involve helping in the local community, becoming fitter, developing new skills, planning, training for and completing an expedition and, for Gold only, working with a team on a residential activity.

It is not for nothing that employers and universities value the scheme so greatly. Through the DofE International Award, our pupils gain essential skills and attributes for work and life such as resilience, problem-solving, team-working, communication and drive, enhancing their future CVs and university applications.

The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award is offered to Senior School pupils as part of the co-curricular activities programme.
