Curriculum

Like our famous sister school in the UK, King’s College Doha places a strong emphasis on specialist subject teaching, with specialist teachers working down all the way to Pre-School. Uniquely to Doha, all subjects are led by specialist teachers from Year 5 onwards. This rigorous approach enables children to achieve above and beyond expectation as it ensures that they challenged each day by enthusiastic and dedicated teachers who know their respective subjects ‘inside out’.

Much of the academic challenge at King’s comes from within, with our relentless focus on the five habits that form The King’s Identity: confidence, creativity, commitment, caring for others and curiosity. Our academic tutoring system ensures that your child’s individual needs are constantly being met and reviewed, whether through our Beacon Programme for our most able pupils or personalised learning support.
