The Early Years: Pre-School and Reception – Ages 3-5

As an Early Years pupil at King’s College Doha, your child will embark on the biggest and most important adventure of his or her life. Education. It’s a lifelong adventure that can take your child first through our Pre-Prep School, on our Al Thumama Campus, next into the Prep and Senior Schools, at our Mesaimeer campus, and then onto a world-class university.

If your child joins us in the Early Years, the educational adventure will begin on a campus that has been custom designed for our youngest learners – a light and modern building and a learning environment that balances aspirations with warmth, kindness and praise.

The Early Years at King’s has been designed to make learning experiences irresistible. We encourage learning to continue beyond the classroom walls, with excellent opportunities to use outdoor learning areas as well as an extensive shared learning space for our Pre-School and Reception children.

Small class sizes enable our talented British trained teachers to get to know their children incredibly well. We know what inspires and ignites interest in each child and, as a result, can tailor each experience to suit their individual style of learning.

Each class is supported by a full-time teaching assistant, enabling each child to achieve above and beyond expectation. There are no boundaries for growth in the Early Years at King’s – every child can succeed at their own pace.
