The King’s Pathway

There are tens of thousands of members of the King’s College community, both in the United Kingdom and Qatar. We have set ourselves a challenge: how do we bring this network together to support our pupils at King’s College Doha whilst providing a wonderful social and professional network for our parents?

The answer is The King’s Pathway – our vision to harness the talents and expertise of all members of the King’s community to support our ambition to offer an education that is unparalleled anywhere in the Middle East. Through a wide range of social and professional activities, we are deepening relationships between King’s College Doha and its wider family through four exciting new networks.

We are mixing the professional expertise of our King’s Doha parents, local business leaders and sister school in the UK with the academic life of our pupils, through the establishment of an Educational Enrichment Network – providing our parents, friends and partners at King’s College UK with opportunities to offer masterclasses and lectures to enrich what happens in our classrooms. Programmes are being established for leadership development, entrepreneurship, enterprise and much more, because we want our pupils to become curious, interested and interesting people.

From August 2023, King’s pupils will be able to draw upon the talents of our wider community of parents, local industry partners and sister school in England through the development of a Careers Network. This will provide our pupils with invaluable ‘real world’ careers advice, guidance, work placement opportunities and networking links, ensuring that they are future-ready.

We are committed to building up a vibrant programme of social events for our King’s parents through the development of a bespoke Social Network for our parents. This promises to feature cultural trips, reunions, sporting outings and birthday celebrations, and will be managed with the value support of our King’s Futures parent group.

We are calling upon the talents of our parents to support our pupils, and each other, in the development of an exciting array of community events to raise money for good causes. The creation of our Qatar Charity Network will provide ample opportunity for our families to support King’s in leaving a positive social footprint, whilst inspiring our pupils to make a difference, locally and globally, right now.
