King’s College Doha proudly shares the highest school ranking in Qatar, having been awarded a five-year accreditation as an ‘Outstanding’ school by the Qatar National Schools Accreditation (QNSA) in May 2022.

There are three possible outcomes to QNSA accreditation visits:
• Denial of accreditation – for ‘Unsatisfactory’ performance
• Three-year QNSA accreditation – for ‘Good’ performance
• Five-year QNSA accreditation – for ‘Outstanding’ performance

We were delighted that our classification as ‘Outstanding’ school won the praise of our famous sister school, King’s College UK.

The Headmaster, Mr Justin Chippendale, commented:
“We are thrilled that our sister school, King’s College Doha, now shares the top inspection ranking in Qatar. This is a school that encapsulates the King’s DNA, delivering pupil happiness as well as academic engagement and achievement. Our warmest congratulations to the pupils, staff and parents of King’s Doha.”

The State of Qatar launched the QNSA for private schools in 2011 to ensure that its schools meet international standards for performance and quality. The accreditation system provides quality assessments on schools based on their academic, educational and administrative performance.

King’s Doha is also a member of the British Schools in the Middle East (BSME) organisation, chairing its Teaching and Learning and Safeguarding committees.

Pupils at King’s have an opportunity to participate in a range of global competitions and initiatives, including The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award, Model United Nations and The World Scholar’s Cup.
