Year 5A and B had a fantastic time at the Dromedary club on Monday and Tuesday of this week. As we had just completed an English unit on ‘The language of instruction’ it was an opportune time to use our language skills, along with listening and art skills. This cross-curricular trip certainly showed how well we have adapted to year 5. The staff at the club complimented the children on their manners and behaviour. For this, the children have been rewarded with House Points.
There were lots of smiles as we learned about leather, manipulating leather, holding it together, treating it and lots more. Overall, this was a very worthwhile experience.
